Jennifer Young is an Administrative Supervisor in the Vital Statistics Branch within the Division of Epidemiology and Health Planning. She supervises and directs the Registration and Amendment Section which supports the state-wide system for collecting, coding, filing, amending and safe keeping of all vital records for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Jennifer has over twelve years of management experience, twenty-one years of customer service expertise, and five years of experience teaching high school Family and Consumer Sciences.
Jennifer is currently pursuing a certificate in Public Health Training from the University of Louisville. She holds a MA in Educational Leadership P -12 from Union College and a MAT in Family and Consumer Sciences Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Her bachelor’s degree is in Apparel Design and Merchandising, with a double emphasis in design and merchandising.
In her spare time, Jennifer likes to read, hike, and spend time with family. She lives in Lawrenceburg, KY with her husband Jeremy.
