Caitlyn WaltersRN, BSN

I was born and raised in Southeastern Kentucky. I began my nursing journey in high school as a member of HOSA and graduated with my CNA certification. After high school I attended Union College where I obtained my RN BSN degree and was awarded the Leadership in Nursing Award during my last semester. After graduating from college, I worked on the Telemetry floor at Baptist Health, in Corbin, Kentucky. Today I am blessed to work at the Whitley County Health Department as a Public Health Nurse, as well as the Tuberculosis Coordinator. I am excited to have this opportunity to be a part of the 2022-2023 Kentucky Public Health Emerging Leadership Institute. When I am not working, I love spending time with friends and family, reading, and traveling.
