Trenton Saylor is a manufacturing inspector at Kentucky Department for Public Health where he conducts inspections at hemp-derived cannabinoid businesses to protect public health. Trenton has a passion for protecting public health due to previous work and life experiences. Trenton graduated from the University of Louisville in May of 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in public health.
Trenton was chosen as the recipient of the 2023 Outstanding Metropolitan College Student Award, an award that recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding leadership, work-life balance, and academic success. Trenton was also chosen to participate in the Metropolitan College Signing Day event, an event showcasing part-time employees that graduate debt free through completion of the UPS Metropolitan College Program.
When not in the office, Trenton enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors and videography. Trenton has self-taught videography skills. He volunteers his time and skills with Jefferson County Public Schools to creates highlight videos for student athletes. He also enjoys creating signing day videos for student athletes when they select their college. Trenton hopes to use these videography skills in his career in public health.
