Adria Neal is a public health policy analyst committed to advancing health equity through research, advocacy, and community-centered solutions. At the Louisville Metro Department of Public Health & Wellness, she serves on the Equity Infrastructure Team, where she facilitates staff training, evaluates programs, and helps shape departmental equity goals.

Her professional path spans public health, addiction recovery, education, legislative policy, and nonprofit leadership, giving her a deep understanding of how systems impact health outcomes. A graduate of the University of Louisville and current M.A. candidate in Public Administration and Policy at American University, Adria is passionate about translating research into action and building coalitions that drive meaningful change.

Beyond her professional work, Adria is deeply involved in civic leadership and community service. She serves as co-chair of the Advocacy and Public Relations Committee for the Chestnut Street YMCA Advisory Board. In this role, she leads efforts to amplify community voices, strengthen partnerships, and advance the organization’s mission. With a strong foundation in research, policy, advocacy, and community engagement, she continues to create pathways for equity-focused solutions that empower both institutions and communities.
