Faith Music is a dedicated public health professional with a strong background in program management, casework, and community engagement. She currently serves as the HANDS Manager at the Floyd County Health Department, where she oversees program operations, mentors staff, and ensures the delivery of high-quality home visitation services that promote maternal health, early childhood development, and family stability.
Her career reflects a deep commitment to strengthening families and communities. She previously served as a HANDS Home Visitor, providing direct support to prenatal and postpartum women and connecting families with vital healthcare, developmental, and social resources. Faith also worked as a Lead Case Manager with StepStone Family and Youth Services, where she supported foster parents and children in therapeutic foster care, coordinated treatment plans, and facilitated multidisciplinary collaboration. Her background further includes roles as a substance abuse counselor, targeted case manager, site supervisor, and social service worker, giving her a well-rounded perspective on behavioral health and child welfare systems.
Faith earned both a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Morehead State University. She is CPR and First Aid certified and trained in Trauma-Informed Care.
Passionate about advocacy and service, Faith is driven by a belief in empowering families through compassion, education, and access to resources. She continues to build strong partnerships with community agencies and healthcare providers, ensuring that families in Eastern Kentucky have the tools they need to thrive. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and her dog, Reggie.
