Kentucky Department for Public Health
Frankfort, Kentucky

Daniel specializes in transforming wastewater viral data into clear, accessible public health intelligence for the Kentucky Department for Public Health. Beyond surveillance, Daniel champions agency-wide data modernization and workforce development. He founded and directs the KDPH R User Group—mentoring more than 40 colleagues in reproducible programming—and established departmental guidelines for version control and GitHub adoption.
