I was born and raised in Midway, Kentucky. I graduated from Woodford County High School in 1998. I then graduated with a BS in Accounting at the University of Kentucky in 2002. I spent eight years with 5/3 Bank in numerous finance and accounting roles both in Cincinnati and Lexington. I then moved to American Founders Bank where I worked for seven years, first as the controller and then as CFO. I have been the CFO of the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department since 2017. Here, I serve as a member of senior management and oversee finance, accounting, billing, and facilities. I currently live in Versailles, Kentucky with my husband, James, who was also born and raised in Woodford County. He is a lawyer and serves as the Judge Executive of Woodford County. We have three children, Kieran, 8, Kyan, 7, and Isla James, 5.
