Patricia “Patti” Ellis is the Public Health Content Coordinator for the Kentucky Department for Public Health (KDPH) Office of the Commissioner. Within her role, Patti helps create and coordinate content for KDPH’s social media and websites, writes and edits various types of content, performs social media planning, conducts digital marketing research, and reviews KDPH content to further branding and communication strategic plan efforts.
Before taking on her role within the Office of the Commissioner, Patti held the title of Education and Outreach Coordinator within the KDPH Immunization Branch. During her almost two and a half years within the Immunization Branch, she worked to facilitate communication between the branch and its partners while providing health education and outreach to Kentucky healthcare providers and communities. Prior to joining KDPH in 2020, Patti had over seven years of experience in healthcare and healthcare administration.
Patti now lives in Frankfort, KY, but is originally from Owensboro, KY. While in Owensboro, she attended Kentucky Wesleyan College, where she studied Human Services Administration and Public Health Policy.
