Kelsee Comp is the Nursing Supervisor at the Pennyrile District Health Department, with over 11 years of nursing experience, including 5 years in public health. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Murray State University in 2014, Kelsee began her healthcare career with 1 year in long-term care and 4 years on a surgical-telemetry floor in a hospital setting. She joined the health department during the COVID-19 pandemic as a disease investigator, later transitioning into clinical work, and ultimately stepping into her current leadership role as Nursing Supervisor just over a year ago.
As a young leader, Kelsee is committed to building strong, collaborative teams and is eager to expand her leadership skills. Her goal is to better serve her community and enhance her team’s impact.
