Adriana Cash graduated from nursing school in December of 2008.  She started her Nursing Public Health career with the North Central District Health Department soon after graduation at the Shelby County Health Department.  Throughout the years, she advanced in her career goals by achieving several promotions from Local Health Nurse I, II and III to becoming the nursing supervisor for the organization in December of 2021. 

In her current position, she continues to passionately promote the mission of the organization by providing innovative, diverse and inclusive public health services through education, disease prevention, regulation adherence and communicable disease control. 

She enjoys equipping and training new and experienced nursing staff and encourages them to become as passionate about public health as she is while achieving their best potential – not only for themselves but for the communities the organization serves.

Adriana was born and raised in Caracas-Venezuela.  She has called the USA her home since 1996.  She recently celebrated her 20th anniversary with Jamey Cash and has three children, James (13), Josiah (11) and Joanna (9).  In her free time, Adriana enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, hiking, and reading.
