Krista Alexander is the Clinic Nurse Supervisor, WIC Coordinator, and Breastfeeding Peer Counselor Supervisor at the Greenup County Health Department. She loves being a nurse because she likes to make a difference in people’s lives, help others, and is always learning something new every day.
Krista has been employed with the Greenup County Health Department since August 2010. Prior to her work at the Greenup County Health Department, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a local hospital on a Medical/Surgical floor, then transition as a Registered Nurse on the same floor from 2000 to 2012.
Krista received her associate degree in Nursing in 2004 from Shawnee State University and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Ohio University in 2006.
Krista is the proud mother of two boys, Bryce (13) and Brady (5). She has been happily married to her husband for 18 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her oldest son race Go-Karts, and staying active outdoors.
