I am a Facilities Operations Team Lead with the Lexington-Fayette County Health Department. I have been with the Health Department since 2018 and have advanced through several roles within Facilities, gaining experience in daily operations, project coordination, safety, repair and team leadership.
I care deeply about the people and community we serve. I understand firsthand how important public health services can be in people’s lives. That perspective makes my work especially meaningful. I have experienced the value of these services, and now I have the opportunity to support the people and programs that provide them.
In my current role, I supervise and support a team of facilities staff, coordinate with vendors and contractors, and help lead projects that keep our department safe and functioning effectively. I am excited about the opportunity to participate in the Kentucky Public Health Emerging Leadership Institute, learn from other leaders, and bring those lessons back to my team. I hope to strengthen my leadership skills, better guide and support my team, and ultimately help our department serve the programs and community members who rely on it.
